The E-Guardian Philippines Inc. (EGP) Recruitment Team participated in a Career Fair hosted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) last May 7, 2019. EGP was one of the 25 private companies and government office exhibitors at the Fair which was attended by over 1,000 recent senior high school and college graduates from all over Metro Manila.
Albeit its first time to join a Career Fair, EGP caught the eye of several attendees, many of whom completed IT or Computer Science courses and are keen on a career in the information technology & business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. Prospective candidates were particularly interested in game support and non-voice customer service opportunities at E-Guardian Philippines Inc.. The event opened exciting opportunities for many Filipinos with little to no prior work experience. As a start-up BPO, E-Guardian Philippines Inc. does not look for experience for its rank-and-file roles, hence fresh graduates make viable candidates. It does, however, require good communication skills in English; an interest in technology, the Internet and social media; learnability; cultural awareness, and a can-do attitude towards work and life..
