E-Guardian Philippines Inc. (EGP) participated in a gift-giving initiative for less fortunate Filipino children as its first-ever corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity on December 14, 2018.
The event was organized by TeamAsia, an integrated marketing communication firm in the Philippines in partnership with the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) to pioneer the campaign aptly called My Dream in a Shoebox. The mission of the campaign is to support the dreams of less fortunate Filipino children by gifting them with basic school supplies. Several other business processing outsourcing (BPO) companies also participated in the said campaign.
EGP employees filled shoe boxes with writing pads, pencils, notebooks, and crayons before gift-wrapping them. All in all, EGP donated nearly 300 boxes to the mission.
Together with volunteers from other companies, select E-Guardian Philippines Inc. employees participated at the gift-giving event held at Christ the King Parish in Las Piñas City where over 2,000 young school children from impoverished communities were gifted with the shoeboxes.
E-Guardian Philippines Inc. believes in building society by empowering children with the right tools so they can achieve their dreams through proper education.
