Who would have thought that 12 years ago, an ordinary contractual employee from Akita Prefecture would now become an EGP Director of one of the fastest growing BPO companies in the Industry?

Kazumi Okuyama then was in a rank and file position working as an agent, providing solutions to different customers whether via phone, email or chat. He never once complained about his workload instead he showed how hardworking he is. His hard work fortunately did pay off, from being a contractual employee to being the first from his batch to be favored as a regular member of the E-Guardian company.

After some time, the Management had seen his potential, thus he became a Team Leader then worked his way up the position ladder. He never imagined that in a span of less than 10 years, he would be in the higher management level, directing, managing and leading the whole site of the very first outsourced BPO of the E-Guardian here in the Philippines.

As E-Guardian planned to expand its operations globally, Okuyama was chosen to lead the Operations due to his experience, expertise and dependability in the field. He did not waste any more time and grabbed the opportunity to share his knowledge and grow the Company that was fully entrusted to him. His dedication and commitment stems from his hardworking nature and determination to ensure that the expectations from him will be met. Gladly, it even surpassed the expectations.

When asked as to why he stayed with E-Guardian for almost 13 years now, he said that he believes that the Company will not stop its expansion only in the Philippines. It aims to create a group of companies within the ASEAN countries in the near future. It’s an exciting journey to be part of such ambition knowing that you are also growing from within. He also believes that EGP employees will have the opportunity to grow and be part of the other EG group of companies in the future. The opportunity is limitless as long as you are determined to reach your goal and show your true potential.

Lastly, he gave a simple yet meaningful reminder to those who are also dreaming of advancing within the ranks.

“What the Company wants, what your leaders need and what your accomplishments are. When these correlate one another within you, then you will definitely be identified and be recognized. The chance of getting promotions and opportunities would definitely be on your path. Communicate well with your Leaders and understand what your team goal is.
