Along with the celebration of World Mental Health Day last October 10, E-Guardian Philippines launched its first Mental Health and Wellness activity. The HR and Admin Team hosted an Engagement activity called Employee Appreciation Day. This aimed to thank all EGP employees for their hard work and dedication to the Company. Employees were also given the opportunity to express their appreciation towards their colleagues through giving ‘thank you’ notes and chocolates.

This activity is at par with the goals of RA 11036 or the Mental Health Act in motivating and supporting its employees through various mental health and wellness programs in the workplace. The management believes that these activities could lessen the factors that affect employees’ performance such as burnout, stress and other mental issues which are very common within an Organization.

October 10 was truly filled with enthusiasm and motivation thus, proving that working at EGP can be as sweet as chocolates.
